If you can't get it to work, you may need to change the Bluetooth pairing from default to advanced.

I'm shocked. You paired a genuine ps4 controller to a genuine sony bluetooth adapter and you didn't even bother to check controller reading for latency? Pairing a DS4 to a Bluetooth dongle is the issue of the year, as you never know what latency you'll get, what's your bluetooth range, etc. Another thing you could have tested, is BTHPS3 to see if that sony BT dongle can be paired to DS3 Controllers. Can you test these and update us?
